On this site I have chosen a clean white background, and black text. You can choose any background color, text color or background image.
I would only suggest that you choose colors that are easy to read and won't make someone's eyes hurt.
We can also work with a color wheel to obtain complimentary colors through out your site.
The button text will match the types of pages you have. They also can be arranged horizontally or vertically.
The possibilities are endless and the choices are yours.

You can choose any colors for your links.They should complement the color of your text. Usually, I will change the color or size of the link to indicate the page they are on. Simple but very effective navigation.

At the top left of the screen, you will notice a menu device that is very unobtrusive.
Border and text colors can be any you choose. It works by clicking the arrows to extend the menu. Slick little menu tool in my opinion.
